If you follow Men In This Town on Twitter or Facebook, you’ll know that I’m heading to New York City next week for the third season in a row to shoot street style during New York Fashion Week. I’m also looking forward to attend a couple shows at Lincoln Centre and at Milk Studios during Made Fashion Week (by far my favourite).
I’m proud to say I’m attending solo this year (my trips last year were thanks to Tumblr and The Amazing Rich Tong - yes, that is his real name) so while I still plan on some great coverage it won’t be as full as last year…which is actually a bit of a relief! I’ll have my partner Josh to keep me in line as it’s meant to be some downtime for him. ;)
If you want to check out what I’m up to during the week, be sure to follow on Twitter or Facebook, if not for fashion week, at least for pictures of our dog Baxter.

The Camera Club, a community based bar & gallery space in Sydney have kindly included my photos in their new show Meet the Locals, a photographic exhibition on street style from around the world. I’m honoured to be included in a group of some amazing photographers and look forward to seeing their work and hopefully meeting them at the opening this Thursday. If you’re in Sydney, I would love to see you there.

When I first moved to Australia five years ago, one of the first mens fashion titles I really took to was Men’s Style Australia. It was also one of the first magazines I applied to work for as a graphic designer. They weren’t hiring at the time but I did manage to meet with the Art Director, which was exciting enough. Five years on and I get an email from the Editor wanting to publish my NYFW photos…truly amazing!

If you’re in Australia, be sure to pick up a copy of the Summer issue and check it out!
